About Us

AYR was created mainly because we love sailing, prefer One Design and to offer the fifth largest city in the United States (and fastest growing county) the opportunity to seek out new talent and host unique events in the desert. With the exception of a couple of months in summer where our northern friends cannot fathom sailing in 110 degrees, we sail pretty much all year. When all the boats across the country are covered in snow, we put on shorts and sail.

The fleets we own and operate serve a very unique purpose: Arrive and Sail. No more towing, broken bearings and blown tires, trailer lights that never work… Our boats are evenly matched and you can even use your own sails. Come to Phoenix, bring your gloves and even flip-flops, sail in a spectacular location, race hard and play just as much and return home the comfortable way.
AYR hosts its own events, including the signature Face Book Yacht Club Annual Rodeo as well as series and match racing. We also provide team building programs, corporate events and private charters on our Capri 37s.

AYR is operated in conjunction with Tiller an Kites Sailing School and Sea Scout Ship 3500.
